Bayliss Architects has been involved in several ranch projects throughout the western United States. These range from smaller projects like Oxbow Ranch which included a residence and barn to larger projects like Wagonhound Ranch. Wagonhound Ranch consisted of several guest homes ranging from 1,600 sq. ft. to 2,800 sq. ft., a main residence of 30,000 sq. ft., a horse barn/lodge that is 18,600 sq. ft., a complete ranch headquarters for the working ranch that included shops, storage, and ranch manager’s home. In the initial master planning of the ranch, we also had plans for a sporting clay range and several ponds that would serve as fishing habitats as well as reflecting ponds and “good old” swimming holes for the Owners and guests to enjoy.
